What You Will Be Doing
As a IT Systems Integrator for Addlestone you will be primarily configuring networks for information, security, cameras, access controls, installing and configuring programs, and working with hardware for our customer base. 80% of your configurations are done remotely (from our headquarters in Wilmington DE), but some do require visits to the client site. As a member of our East Coast team, any travel would be in the Eastern US and typically lasts 2-5 days. You will be designing Building and configuring Servers for customers and our internal needs and troubleshooting servers when needed. You will be writing scripts for automating processes and small programs. You will be pulling from you past experience to suggest helpful programs. You will be doing research and development and testing of new products and how they integrate to our systems.

What You Need for this Position
The ideal candidate has completed a college degree in computer science or started out in Networking and is able to architect, build and trouble-shoot a large Network. You should be very comfortable, confident in correctly diagnosing hardware issues, identification of blue screen values, and how to read dump files. You will have an expert understanding of Networking (routers, switches, protocols) and have demonstrated an interest and experience in Network Security (Firewall design/configuration/architecture, Penetration testing experience and/or CISSP). You should also have scripting experience with Shell, Python, Linux and Windows Administration. Successful candidates will be able to harness their knowledge in these areas to hold consultative conversations and gain credibility with the Network, Security, Management teams at the customers locations you will be interfacing with.

Position Description

Position Title: IT Systems Integrator
1. Primary Purpose and Function
Configuring, programming, connecting, disconnecting, reconnecting, testing, maintaining, installing, rearranging company equipment, customer network and security equipment, Configuring Equipment, inside, outside at poles, underground or building terminals. Working in on and around various buildings and surroundings.

2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Works with little or no direct supervision.
• Operates personal vehicle
• Install and Commission various servers, computers and large scale video wall systems that make up the particular components required for the customer's integrated IT solution as determined by customer's requirements
• Set up and establish connections between various secondary components ( Cameras, network switches, routers, Access points etc.) to integrate the system components
• Configure products, including but not limited to all software settings, database configuration, define rights and permissions for groups, define sources, port assignments, port forwarding (video, web, application, etc.), etc
• Connect, disconnect, test and maintain various types of company and customer provided cameras, switches and access control equipment.
• Conduct end-user Training of applications, programs with clients.
• Connection of fiber optic services and equipment.
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software as necessary, which includes addressing hardware and configuration issues, and identifying software/OS issues
• Maintain detailed written record of all work performed.
• Evaluate customer needs and promote the sale of the company products and services
• Prioritize and manage workload

3. Knowledge and skill
• University degree in computer science or related subject
• You should know Linux Administration, Windows Administration.
• You should know scripting, Bat files, etc…
• Programming languages are a plus, C++, Objective C, etc..
• You must be able to install various network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers,
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, ONVIF, RSTP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc…)
• Solid understanding of RAID technologies (e.g., RAID1, RAID3, RAID5, etc...)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches hot fixes and security configurations
May perform combined job function (CJF) duties which include installing, maintaining, servicing and cleaning, customer and company equipment.
Must be able to apply common sense, theory, and experience to decision-making; able to recognize similarities between past and present situation; able to identify key issues or use inductive reasoning in complex situations and to communicate courteously and proactively.

13. Physical Requirements

Physical Activity
• Ability to perceive differences in color of wires and cables.
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Work in high heat conditions in excess of 100°F and in cold conditions
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Work aloft, including ability to climb ladders, structures, attics, basements and other confined spaces.
• Work in presence of hazardous materials
• Must have the ability to move and/or lift objects such as servers tools wire test equipment and other objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must meet weight restriction to comply with OSHA / company safety standards.

Position Description

Working and around various buildings and surroundings, including roofs, backyards, attics, basements, crawl spaces, etc. Climbing ladders, and working aloft.

Must have extensive wire fishing skills.

Must know how to Terminate Cat6e and RG59 wire ends.

Must have basic understanding of construction techniques used in commercial buildings and modern residential construction.
